E-BURETTE

The MICROLIT E-BURETTE is a motor-operated electronic burette designed for highly precise titration and volumetric analysis. Its motor-controlled piston and three individually calibrated dispensing speeds—fast, medium and dropwise—help eliminate user-related speed variation and improve endpoint accuracy. The system features a TFT touchscreen, reagent-saving recirculation mode, one-touch drop dispensing, quick-set volume recall, memory for 20 timestamped readings and electronic recalibration. It is available in 10 ml, 25 ml and 50 ml capacities.

Description

The MICROLIT E-BURETTE is an advanced motor-operated burette developed for accurate, repeatable and user-friendly titration. It combines motor-controlled piston movement with an intuitive touchscreen control panel, helping laboratories achieve consistent dispensing speeds and reliable titration endpoints.

Unlike conventional digital burettes that depend on manually rotating a wheel, the E-BURETTE uses a motor to control piston movement. This reduces inconsistencies caused by differences in operator technique or abrupt changes in dispensing speed.

The instrument provides three individually calibrated preset speeds:

  • Fast dispensing for efficient liquid delivery
  • Medium dispensing for controlled titration
  • Dropwise dispensing for accurate endpoint determination

The E-BURETTE also supports individual electronic recalibration at fast, medium and dropwise speeds, allowing accuracy to be maintained for each operating mode.

A user-friendly TFT touchscreen displays titration data to two decimal places. Dispensing is controlled by pressing the supplied stylus against the display and stops immediately when the stylus is lifted, giving the operator direct control throughout the titration.

Its One Touch, One Drop function delivers precise dropwise volumes. The 25 ml and 50 ml models dispense 0.01 ml per drop, while the 10 ml model provides 0.005 ml increments, supporting fine endpoint control.

The Quick Set function recalls and dispenses the last saved volume, reducing repeated setup during routine titration procedures. The control panel can also automatically refill the burette without changing the displayed reading, reset the reading to zero using the tare function and manage other instrument settings.

An integrated Recirculation Mode redirects reagent back into the mounted bottle during purging. This helps prevent reagent loss and promotes bubble-free dispensing before titration begins.

The updated memory system stores up to 20 readings, each with a date and time stamp. Users can delete individual records or clear all readings, while compatible printouts can be generated for record-keeping. Calendar and clock settings can also be adjusted through the control panel.

The adjustable delivery nozzle can be positioned horizontally and vertically, providing flexibility when working with different vessels and laboratory arrangements.

Models and Capacities

The MICROLIT E-BURETTE is available in three models:

  • TI-10: 10 ml capacity with 0.005 ml increments
  • TI-25: 25 ml capacity with 0.01 ml increments
  • TI-50: 50 ml capacity with 0.01 ml increments

Five bottle adapters—28 mm, 32 mm, 38 mm, 40 mm and 45 mm—are supplied to fit most standard laboratory reagent bottles.

The transparent acrylic window can be replaced with an optional amber-coloured window when working with light-sensitive reagents. An optional portable mini printer can print up to 20 readings with real-time date and time information.

Optional software compliant with US FDA 21 CFR Part 11 is available for laboratories requiring enhanced data security, multi-step authentication and controlled electronic titration records.

The E-BURETTE conforms to ISO 8655 standards, is GLP compliant, and each instrument is individually calibrated and supplied with a calibration certificate. Electronic calibration and recalibration can be completed within the laboratory without a separate external calibration tool.

Suitable applications include pharmaceutical analysis, laboratory titration, food and beverage quality control, wine testing, chemical analysis, cosmetics, agriculture, cement, natural resources and automotive testing.

Combining motor-controlled dispensing, three calibrated speeds, digital record management and reagent-saving operation, the MICROLIT E-BURETTE offers an efficient and precise alternative to traditional glass and manually operated digital burettes.
